This includes promoting learning, develop emotional, social and behavioural skills and support psychological development. The course involves part of the week at university and the rest of the week in placements within education to apply the skills I am learning.

My time at university developed my core understanding for how to apply psychological theory to support with mental health problems as well as understanding common learning difficulties and neurodiversity.

Whilst studying and working, I developed a passion for enabling children and young people (CYP) to access education in order to thrive.

Within this role I worked with children and young people from challenging and deprived backgrounds. This is where I developed my passion for support children and young people.
